Anja Grünewald is the founder and head of Grünewald Design, established in Frankfurt in 2005. She leads interdisciplinary teams and focuses on developing strong, unconventional concepts that are executed with precision and attention to detail. Her work has been recognised with international awards, including the Frankfurt Founder’s Award in 2003.
She studied industrial design at FH Hannover and began her career at the Grundig International Design Centre in Portugal, where she was responsible for Corporate Packaging and Product Graphics. This was followed by project leadership roles in several design agencies in Germany before founding her own studio.
