creativity
built on structure
Justus Rehn is a leadership executive, brand strategist, identity designer, and aerial fine art photographer from Germany.
Throughout his career, he has worked at the intersection of large-scale organisational thinking and creative precision — two disciplines that, in his experience, are rarely as far apart as they seem.
Born in Moers — a city of around 105,000 on the Lower Rhine, roughly 30 minutes northwest of Düsseldorf — he joined ALDI in 2006 as a student and spent a decade in store operations across Germany and Australia. Since 2017, he has held Director-level roles across real estate, international transformation, and IT.
It was during his time in Western Australia that he discovered aerial photography. In 2018, he founded PINES & PALM TREES Creative Studios, a fine art practice focused on landscape and form seen from above. Each work is released as a strictly limited edition of fifteen, printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® and individually certified.

In 2025, he established FORTYSEVENSEVEN Design Co. in Düsseldorf — a studio for brand strategy and visual identity, working with founders and businesses to define what they stand for before a single logo gets drawn.
After two decades in corporate leadership, Justus now directs his focus toward his own ventures — bringing the same structured thinking and understanding of how people and organisations work into his creative practice. His creativity has always fuelled everything he does. That will not change.
Justus Rehn lives in Düsseldorf-Pempelfort.
He is available for conversations as a leadership voice, brand strategist, and aerial imagist.
